How do I set up the Phone Dialer? (Back to top)

To install phone dialer:

1. You need a modem, a phone line or phone with dataport not used for internet (DSL is o.k.), and a phone.
   
2. Install dialer either from windows: 
   Start - Settings - Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs
   Windows Setup - Communications - Phone Dialer
   
   or

1. Save the attachment to: 
   C:\WINDOWS\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp
   then: Start - Programs - StartUp - Dialer
   
2. Start WinShip
   
3. Go to a correspondent you want to call.
   
4. Pick up the line on your phone that equates to your modem (Any line for dataport phones).
   
5. Press dial button (Top Left corner of correspondent screen).
   
6. Press hang-up in the dialog box.
   
7. You can dial just about any number from just about anywhere.
   
   For example: 
   You can sweep a phone number in incoming message, right click and choose dial from the pop up menu.
