How do I enter vessel descriptions? (Back to top)

To enter vessel descriptions:

1. Click on the icon marked Ship.
2. Click on the Add Ship button.
3. A dialog box will pop up asking you to Please Enter Code.
4. Enter a Mnemonic for the ship and click the OK button.
5. Enter the ship specifications in the blank spaces provided.
6. WinShip automatically converts the Metric and Imperial values.
7. If you have additional information enter that on page tabbed Full Page.
8. There is no need to enter decimal points when entering the vessel weight, just enter the numbers.
9. You may enter decimal points if that is your habit, but you will get an error if you use commas.
10. When you have finished entering all the information click on the Save Changes button.
