Responsive began providing internet email and web hosting as a result of increasing customer demand for better service. Inbound email: Some customers use Responsive for inbound email because most Internet Service Providers (ISPs) are now blocking messages in an effort to combat spam. |

The problem our customers encountered is that legitimate
senders who are sending via servers that are known to send spam are
blocked. We offer the option of no blocking for those who need to receive all emails sent to them. We also offer the option of spam-blocking for those who want it. Outbound email: Typically, customers use Responsive for outbound email because when they have a problem sending to a recipient we can track it in our mail servers and usually determine why the message is not sent. |
Others use our mail servers because their ISP restricts the
number of recipients they can send to at once. Others use our mail servers
for outbound messages because their email software does not support
Authentication methods used by ISPs in their efforts to combat spam.
